I am an experienced ESL educator with over 30 years of University-Level teaching

With over 30 years of teaching experience of university-level instruction, I offer a comprehensive background in English language education. I hold a PhD in General Linguistics (English), which supports my ability to provide effective and high-quality language instruction. My career has involved teaching students of all ages and proficiency levels. I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each learner, ensuring a productive learning experience. My teaching methods create a supportive and interactive environment, encouraging students to practice and improve their English skills. I use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to make learning both enjoyable and relevant. By identifying individual learning styles and adapting my methods accordingly, I help students build confidence and competence in their language abilities. I stay current with the latest teaching methodologies and best practices through continuous professional development. My goal is to support students in achieving their language learning objectives. Being a non-native English-speaking teacher, I have firsthand experience in learning English as a second language. I understand the challenges, nuances, and common mistakes that international students may face. This empathy can lead to more effective teaching methods and a greater ability to address students' specific needs. I look forward to working with you and assisting you in your journey towards English proficiency.
