I am an experienced Psychologist with a strong knowledge of theory including early childhood development theories, behavioural, social, and consumer psychology. I am also a trained counsellor and this allows my sessions to go deeper than basic theory into application of these concepts in YOUR OWN life, as well as leading into experiential work on how to apply these principals in a real-world working environment if this is something you would benefit from. My focus in a teaching environment is ensuring that my students not only know the content in a "tickbox" manner, but know the context behind this, how it really works, and how to take theory further than just the facts provided - a useful skill for those essay questions! Whether you are starting off on your journey into Psychology or getting ready to graduate, I am an approachable and enthusiatic tutor hoping to help out the next generation of top-tier mental health service providers to unlock their potential and thrive in this rewarding but challenging field.
