Engaging and productive maths education for home ed, SEN and international students

Achieve your goals with me, an experienced and passionate maths tutor! I offer high-quality maths education for learners looking to achieve their potential, secure qualifications, and develop a lasting passion for maths. My experience includes supporting students with a wide range of SEN needs. Qualifications Through bespoke, targeted sessions, I can support learners to achieve (or exceed) their goals when working towards 11+, Functional Skills, GCSEs (and IGCSEs), A-Levels, and more*. My approach is designed to engage and inspire alongside education, developing students’ confidence and curiosity, and encouraging them to dig deeper and become the best mathematicians they can be. Anxious and reluctant learners I offer carefully designed sessions for anxious and reluctant learners. In these sessions, we explore enjoyable, low-pressure activities that motivate students while removing negative associations with maths. These sessions have helped many students develop a positive relationship with maths, with the majority progressing on to work towards formal qualifications. Many learners with SEN have benefited from this approach. Adult learners I am also available to support adult learners. This may include assistance in gaining a qualification, support alongside college or university study, or developing everyday mathematical abilities. *I enjoy exploring new qualifications, including those from abroad. If your student is working towards a qualification that I have not listed, I will gladly consider familiarising myself with the required content and assessment methods.
