Maths tutor teaches students of all ages, in person or online

Hi, I’m Jo, a friendly and approachable newly qualified maths teacher based in Amersham. I believe that every child can succeed in maths with the right support. Whether your child needs to build confidence, prepare for the 11+, improve their GCSE grades or simply needs a little extra help, I provide personalised lessons tailored to their individual needs and learning style. I can support students with: * Primary maths * 11+ maths preparation * Key Stage 3 maths * GCSE Maths (Foundation and Higher) * GCSE Statistics * A Level Maths (please get in touch to discuss your requirements) As a newly qualified maths teacher, I have recent classroom experience teaching students with a wide range of abilities and have trained in local Buckinghamshire schools, including Grammar Schools. My focus is on helping students understand the why behind the maths, not just memorising methods. I use clear explanations, worked examples and plenty of encouragement to help students develop confidence as well as improve their results. Lessons are available: * In your home * At my home in Amersham * Online Whether your child is feeling anxious about maths, aiming to pass an important exam or striving for the highest grades, I aim to make lessons enjoyable, supportive and tailored to their goals. I’d love to help your child discover that they really can do maths.
