Fully Qualified and experienced teacher of English and Maths providing outstanding tutoring for all ages. “So glad we found Alex as a maths tutor for my son. He creates a warm, welcoming, relaxed but very focused learning environment and has built my son's confidence a lot over a short time. My son had a lot of anxiety around maths and feelings that he couldn't do it, as well as struggling with the concepts themselves. Alex's down to earth, kind and knowledgeable approach has really helped him understand much more and he actually enjoys the maths they do in their sessions together. I love how Alex actively encourages questions, is encouraging and makes learning fun. His explanations are clear and if my son isn't grasping it he is able to explain things in a variety of different ways until it makes sense. He has a genuine passion for what he is teaching and for helping kids enjoy learning. A very skilled tutor, highly recommended!” “I have had the distinct pleasure of seeing my young son learn under the guidance of Alex, an online tutor of exceptional ability. Alex's patience is unflinching, navigating my son's curiosity with the skill of a seasoned teacher, while his enthusiasm and passion for his subject is infectious. Alex is superbly knowledgeable and displays immense dedication to each lesson, tailoring the content to both educate and engage my son. His kindness and warmth have endeared him to us and his ability to encourage and empathise is genuinely remarkable. His preparation for each lesson is thorough – crafting exercises around my son’s key interests (in this case, particular computer games). This approach has resulted in lessons that are both educational and enjoyable. Alex's attentiveness is another standout characteristic. He picks up on my son's moods and adjusts the lesson accordingly, ensuring that learning is never a tedious exercise but an engaging activity my son looks forward to. In Alex, we've found a tutor who makes learning a delight for my son. I wholeheartedly recommend Alex for his exceptional tutoring skills and dedication to teaching.” I am a fully qualified Primary School and Early Years teacher with 10 years' experience working with children in educational settings.
