I have native English and can help students practise and improve their English

I am a native English speaker with a strong understanding of the subject. I got an A in my Higher English (Scottish equivalent to A levels). I'm also familiar with IELTS English material. My preferred style of working is online. I am flexible around when I can tutor, weekdays, weekend and evenings can all be arranged. I'm a practicing professional with a high demand of the language to produce formal written documents and deliver presentations. Effective communication is a key stone in my professional career as I manage stakeholders and also as a team leader. Another major part of my role as a Performance Improvement Consultant is providing training, teaching, coaching and mentoring at all levels of the organisations I work with. I currently work for myself as a Performance Improvement Coach. I work with adults of all academic abilities. Whilst coming from an academic background myself, I'm highly empathetic and work well with people of all backgrounds and nationalities, for example, rig workers in Scotland, factory workers in New Zealand, executives in London to artists and healers in Bali. That's one of the key factors that make me effective in my work. I've traveled extensively and worked overseas myself so I have experience with a lot of diversity. I have worked in diverse roles from volunteer work for charities to holding senior management positions within small businesses and for large global corporations. The culture is very different in each of these. When it comes to working with people adapting my style to empathise and suit the client's needs is a fundamental starting point. Beyond that, my professional background means I'm highly organised, set clear instructions, set goals, have regular check ins, identify difficulties and work through those learning challenges or anything blocking the learning process.
