I am a very experienced Piano teacher (25 years). I have a BMus from Goldsmiths College London (2000) and a PGCE in Music from Middlesex University (2002). I specialised in performance at Goldsmiths University and reached diploma standard at the end of my degree, performing a 30 minute classical recital equivalent to an ARSM. I worked for a music service as a piano teacher for 8 years and have taught the piano at an independent school and independent music school for a further two years. I have entered over 180 pupils for ABRSM, Rock School & Trinity piano exams. I am also a jazz pianist and have played and gigged in jazz bands. I can teach beginners all the way to grade 8 standard.
