GCSE & A-Level Maths and Further Maths, UKMT challenges and olympiads

About Me Hi! I am a Mathematics undergraduate at Lancaster University specializing in pure mathematics, having previously received a conditional offer to study Mathematics at the University of Cambridge. My academic background is rooted deeply in advanced mathematics and structural logic. Whether a student is struggling with core school concepts or stretching their abilities for elite national contests, I provide targeted guidance and insight to help them succeed. My Competition Track Record Mathematical Olympiad for Girls (MOG): 3 Distinctions, placing Best in Year (2024) nationwide. Senior Mathematical Challenge (SMC): 4 Gold Certificates. British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1 (BMO1): Earned both Merit and Distinction awards. Services I Offer School Curriculum (GCSE, A-Level, & Further Maths): Full syllabus coverage, past-paper drills, and building solid foundational understanding to boost school grades and confidence. Competitions & Olympiads (UKMT & Beyond): Problem-solving skills for the Junior Challenge (JMC/Junior Kangaroo) up to high-tier conceptual training and proof-writing for the Senior Challenge (SMC/MOG/BMO). My Teaching Approach I focus on teaching students how to think rather than what to memorize. This problem-solving mindset makes standard school exam questions feel straightforward and provides competition students with the tools to break down non-standard problems into elegant, logical arguments.Introductory ConsultationTo ensure the best fit, my "First Lesson Free" setting is structured as a 20-to-30 minute diagnostic consultation call to review previous challenge scores or school targets and map out a clear lesson plan before starting paid sessions.
