Native Korean Tutor with Teaching Experience

Hello! I'm a native Korean speaker currently living in Brighton, UK. I have over two years of teaching experience, including a year of educational volunteer work in South Korea, where I helped secondary school students build strong study habits and confidence in the classroom. I also have more than a year of experience tutoring maths, which developed my ability to explain concepts clearly, patiently, and in a structured way—skills that I now apply to teaching Korean. My Korean lessons are highly tailored to each student’s goals, learning style, and interests. Whether you’re just beginning, preparing for a Korean language exam, or looking to improve your conversation skills for travel, work, or fun—I can adapt my approach to support you. Each lesson includes a mix of conversation, grammar, vocabulary, and listening practice. I also incorporate real-life dialogues, cultural notes, and learner-friendly examples to keep things engaging and relevant. Since I hold a Cambridge C2 Proficiency certificate, I can provide clear grammar explanations in fluent English, which is especially helpful for beginners or intermediate learners. I create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions and learn from mistakes. Together, we’ll set realistic goals and steadily build your confidence in using Korean naturally. Book a trial lesson, and let’s take the first step on your Korean learning journey together!
