French student at Trinity College Dublin. Teaches French at GCSE and A level ,having achieved a 9 and A* in my own exams. Goal-orientated and driven, 4 years of tutoring experience. My approach to teaching is not just about transmitting information but fostering a genuine understanding and appreciation for the language and the country. Through engaging and interactive lessons, I strive to create a supportive learning environment where you feel empowered to take risks, make mistakes, and ultimately thrive in your French language journey. As a French tutor, my approach to teaching revolves around creating an engaging and immersive learning experience tailored to the individual needs and goals of each student. - I prioritise active communication in French during lessons to enhance language proficiency. This includes engaging in conversation, role-playing, and real-life scenarios to reinforce language usage. - I utilise a variety of resources such as videos, podcasts, articles, and interactive online platforms to cater to different learning styles and keep lessons dynamic. - While flexibility is key, I also follow a structured curriculum that progresses systematically from foundational concepts to more advanced topics, ensuring comprehensive understanding and skill development. - Regular feedback sessions and ample opportunities for practice are integrated into lessons to identify areas for improvement and reinforce learning. My typical lesson duration is 45 minutes. This allows sufficient time for meaningful interaction, practice activities, and feedback without overwhelming the student.
