ABOUT ME
Simon started his teaching career as a music teacher, but was forced to change tack through a hearing impairment. He went back to university to Computer Science graduating with first class honours.
He taught A Level Computer Science for 15 years at a sixth form college in Cambridge, and also co-founded the Computing At School group advocating for Computer Science in the classroom and supporting teachers tasked with teaching this new subject.
Simon was awarded the Kavli Education Medal by The Royal Society in 2020 for his contribution to Computer Science Education.
