Advert description

Hello, my name is Coby, I am from Shenzhen, a city in the south of China. My first Chinese student was my husband, who is British, and he can communicate with my family in Chinese now. Whether you want to pass exams or would just like to learn Chinese as a hobby, I can help you. In my lessons, you will not only learn the origin and structure of Chinese characters, pronunciation and grammar, but you will also learn about Chinese history and customs. I will help you to improve your spoken Chinese and to communicate with other people in Chinese. I would love to share my native language and culture with you! Looking forward to meet you here!

Coby was a brilliant teacher for me. When I started learning from Coby, my Chinese was pretty poor, maybe HSK 2 or HSK 3 level - I am now significantly more fluent, and that is in large part due to Coby and her excellent teaching. I recently passed HSK 5 but unfortunately have had to take a break from lessons for a while as my work and personal situation have both become too busy. Coby was well-organised in her lessons, and clear and patient in her explanations, while also making each lesson fun and interesting, and making me feel comfortable in asking questions. I would highly recommend her to any prospective student!
